With the help of Urban Dictionary we have made a list of the most popular labels used for gay guys.
Twink: A young slender guy with no facial or body hair.
“An attractive, boyish-looking, young gay man. The stereotypical twink is 18-22, slender with little or no body hair, often blonde, dresses in club wear even at 10:00 AM, and is not particularly intelligent. A twink is the gay answer to the blonde bimbo cheerleader.”
Otter: A young hairy guy who is generally slim.
“A gay man who is very hairy all over his body, but is smaller in frame and weighs considerably less than a bear.”
Wolf: A lean/muscular guy who is semi-hairy
“A younger, muscular hairy man with facial hair, predatory by nature, leaner than a bear and more muscular than an otter. Wolfs are often found in the social company of bears and otters.”
Cub: A young chubby hairy guy.
“A term used in gay circles to describe a young, husky, hairy gay man. Essentially a young ‘bear.”
Bear: An older chubby hairy guy.
“A term used by gay men to describe a husky, large man with a lot of body hair.”
Polar Bear: An old chubby hairy guy with grey or white facial/body hair.
“Gay slang for a grey haired, older, hairy chubby guy. Or a guy that looks like Santa Claus without the suit”
Jock: A young athletic guy.
“Most likely a buff, muscular, masculine young dude that gays refer to as a ‘jock.’ Likely to have a huge cock.”
Daddy: They tend to be middle aged or above men who is usually well-off and dates younger guys.
“Strength and security in the purest form. A perfect dominant lover that will punish and reward you at the same time, taking you to the highest levels of pleasure over and over and over again. The only man to ever make you feel safe.”
Pup:“A pup is a gay adolescent or young man, with many of the attributes we associate with puppy dogs: cute, inexperienced, naive, bright-eyed, eager, energetic, huggable. Similar to a Twink, but with the possibility of a brain, not as edgy or trendy, and minus the sense that they’re always one step from being totally wasted. A pup is also very like a cub, but isn’t interested in bear culture, not a bear apprentice.”
Twunk: “A homosexual term used to describe a young man (usually between 18-25) that has the face of a twink, with the physique of a hunk. Usually a twunk’s body is not as “ripped” as a “hunk”, but if they went to the gym, the twunk could have the body of a hunk.”
Bull: “In any homosexual or lesbian relationship, the partner who is more aggressive and more masculine than the other, who, being passive and feminine, is called the bitch.”
